Personality

Cida is painfully shy when she first meets people- to the point where she blushes and stutters and babbles and basically makes a complete fool of herself. She isn’t entirely sure why but strangers just make her nervous and awkward and uncomfortable. This has never made a lot of sense to her for she is very much a people person; she loves being with people and learning about them and helping her friends and other such things but first meetings are just never good.

She does get better and to her friends, she’s a completely different person. She’s far less nervous and uptight and actually quite silly. She’s known for making completely spontaneous decisions; perhaps she’ll decide that it’s the perfect opportunity to dance in the rain or maybe she’ll say nothing for a week in some form of protest or she’ll spend an afternoon writing sonnets about her favorite hat and limericks about what it’s like to be a grindylow. She’s hopelessly idealist and optimistic, and she’s quite the romantic to boot. Her sister always likes to tell her she sees the world in shades of pinks, to which Cida will merely point out that actually, her world is purple.

She’s rather naïve and innocent, and far too trusting in people. She’s the type of person who tries to always see the good in someone, and she fully believes that no one is completely evil. She can be a bit gullible and if someone was to tell her that the sky was actually orange and give some sort of explanation as to why this is true, she’d probably believe it. Lying is a foreign concept to her, and she’s fairly certain that she’s incapable of telling a lie; even a white lie is beyond her but luckily for her peers, she is quite good at sugar coating things.

She’s a bit of a dreamer and she’s always curious about things; she was the kid in class who was always asking ‘why?’ after every statement her teacher made, probably much to the annoyance of everyone. A lot of this has to do with the fact that she really isn’t the brightest of people and she’s given up hiding it so as a consequence, she’s always asking questions. She likes to consider herself a writer, even though she really isn’t all that talented, and she’s constantly writing short stories or poems or diary entries. The downside of this is that she has a tendency to be rather spacey; she can lose focus of what’s actually going on because she’s too absorbed with whatever she plans on writing next.

She is rather insecure and has a habit of latching on to people. She’s constantly worrying about what people think of her, and learning that someone dislikes her or something will leave her heartbroken. She’s always the people pleaser, constantly putting other’s happiness above her own and doing little things in attempt to make other people happy.

Libras sorted into House Hufflepuff are some of the sweetest, most charming individuals you will ever meet.
